| Lost in translation: the small sign on the edge says 'no diving' in English, we assumed this literally meant no diving. We shortly found out it is meant to communicate 'no jumping from the edge.' |
We returned to our home town, with Jack and Melinda, feeling refreshed and motivated to continue working hard. We were even motivated to change some of our methods for language and culture learning, specifically in spending more time with locals (more on our progress in this area later).
